David has been writing professionally for over 15 years. Currently, David is Principal Project Writer for Disney TeleVentures, a division of The Walt Disney Company. He has written many news stories for the Los Angeles Reader on a wide variety of topics, including politics and elections, environment and human rights issues, technology, entertainment, performance arts, and lifestyle issues.

Other magazine and newspaper credits include BAM, Computer Technology Review, Glendale News-Press, Rock, Scene, and Cover-to-Cover. His fiction and poetry have been published in the literary reviews Crosscurrents, The Northridge Review, L.A. Jazz Scene, and Kola. David was also featured as both writer and musician (blues harmonica) on the spoken word/music CD "Emergence," on Laughing Medusa Records.

David has a long-standing interest in women's issues, human rights and civil rights, and served on the board of the Amnesty International group 499 for the Santa Clarita Valley (California).

He has won the Helen Helms Marcus Award for Short Fiction and the Society for Technical Communications Award of Excellence.
